Payment…
Payment is processed online by Paypal using their secure servers for all transactions. You can use PayPal even if you don't have an account with them as they will accept all major credit and debit cards. No personal details are transferred from our shop to PayPal, so your financial data is kept secure. You can call the order hotline on 01392 255200 and make a credit card purchase by telephone if you prefer.
Shipping…
Most of our orders are despatched within one working day. Should there be any problem we will notify you of any delays. Out of stock items will be deleted from your order.
All of our orders, including overseas, are sent either Royal Mail recorded delivery or via Business Post Next Day service and are therefore trackable and will require a signature on delivery. If you have not been advised of a delay and have not received your order within 7 days then please contact your nearest sorting office as it is more than likely that delivery was attempted. A "sorry we missed you" card is not always put through your door and unclaimed parcels are returned to sender. Should this happen then you will be charged for the re-delivery of your order.
Current delivery charges are as follows:
- UK addresses: for goods totalling less than £10 the shipping charge is £1.50; otherwise the shipping charge is £3.99
- Non-UK addresses: the shipping charge is £9.99 for all overseas orders, including the EU. Some heavy, fragile or bulky items are not available for international shipping (due to prohibitive shipping and insurance charges), and will be marked as such in the catalogue.
Refunds & Returns…
We want you to be 100% satisfied with your order. If you should be unhappy with your purchase then please return it to us within 7 days of receipt, with a copy of the invoice/receipt, in it's original unused condition and packaging. A full refund of the purchase price will then be issued. If for any reason we suspect an item has been used then we will not issue a refund for that item. For hygeine reasons we are unable to give refunds on jewellry (earrings etc), clothing and bedding.
Please note that we are unable to give any refunds on bulb/LED lighting products as bulbs are not guaranteed on any of these products. Any faults or defects must be reported to us by email within 3 working days of receipt of your order as we feel this is a reasonable length of time for you to inspect and check your goods.
Summary: Our returns conditions are:
- Goods MUST BE unused (we adhere to strict health and hygiene conditions).
- Goods must be in their original condition & packaging.
- Goods must be returned back within 7 days from recept of goods
- Goods must be returned with a copy of the invoice/receipt as we require this for proof of purchase of the said goods, without this information no refund will be processed.
If we suspect that the goods have been used or any of the above conditions are not met we will not issue a refund. Items supplied in sealed packaging that have been opened are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Please note also that postage is not refundable. We will not refund any monies for items sent back to us for what ever reason until we are in receipt of the goods. From this date please allow 30 days for refunds to be processed. Please note that credit card refunds will be made without further notification to yourself.
When returning goods, please obtain your own receipt of posting as we cannot be held responsible for items lost / damaged in transit.
Please note we will not look into any matter if a copy of the invoice / receipt is not sent back with the returned goods. This document is your proof of purchase of the said item and is required to resolve any matter. We will not process any refund for goods sent back after 7 days for whatever reason.
Security…
Some people have asked us if our credit card transactions are secure; the short answer is - yes! Secure servers are required when processing credit card transactions on the web; and our payment system uses PayPal, where all your credit card details are encrypted. The details are not stored or processed on our server (this is because they are processed by PayPal, which operates just like any other credit card system). So your details are not processed on the web!
The encryption takes place in your computer, & the information isn't decrypted until it is safely at PayPal. The only details we keep are your shop login details, your preferred address and contact details; this allows us (or you) to track your order and keep you posted about promotions and special offers. This information is held on a secure server - we do not pass any of your details onto third parties.
