ABOUT THE ARTIST
Shaky Kane emerged on the UK comic scene in the mid-80s. He is one of a group of artists who have grown out of late twentieth century pop culture, influenced by punk rock, comic books and late night television. Shaky came to comics thru the work of Ed “Big Daddy” Roth, Savage Pencil and Jack “King” Kirby. He was influenced by the punk scene, not just the bands but the distinctive flyers and its inherent DIY ethos. His work has appeared in The NME, Deadline, Revolver, 2000 AD, Judge Dredd The Megazine, Bizarre, Black Star Fiction Library and his own imprint Wishbone Studio.
